The Beach at Tulum is one of the most beautiful and most popular beaches in the world. It is located on the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Akumal Bay: Just south of Tulum, you’ll find Akumal Bay, which is one of the best places to snorkel from the beach. The water is crystal clear and there are tons of fish and turtles to see.

Gran Cenote: Gran Cenote is a freshwater cenote located just outside of Tulum. It’s a great place to snorkel, as there are plenty of fish to see and the water is crystal clear.

Cenote Manatee: Cenote Manatee is another great place to snorkel, as it’s home to plenty of turtles and fish. The water is also crystal clear.

Dos Ojos: Dos Ojos is a large cenote located just outside of Tulum. It’s a great place to snorkel, as there are many fish and turtles to see. The water is also crystal clear.

Tips for Snorkeling Success at Tulum

-Wear sunscreen and a hat. The sun can be strong, even on cloudy days. Be sure to apply sunscreen before you get in the water and reapply often, especially if you are swimming in and out of the water.

-Bring insect repellent. There can be mosquitoes near the water’s edge, so it’s good to have repellent handy.

-Snorkel at high tide. The best time to snorkel is when the tide is high and there is more water over the reef. This will give you more visibility and keep you away from any sharp coral.

-Be aware of your surroundings. Tulum is home to many types of fish, but there are also barracudas and sharks in the area.
